Jeanocide clothing brought Kendrick Lamar,Cyhi Da Prynce and Cory Gunz to The Loft last night in mid-town for the grand opening of there Atlanta based clothing line. The doors opened at 8pm and unsigned artists starting performing around 9:30pm till about 10 something when Cyhi Da Prynce ripped it leaving the stage looking like he just ran three miles.
Cyhi performed songs off his mixtape series Royal Flush pt.2 & pt.2 bringing out Atlanta’s own MMG artist Pill to perform “Thousand Poundz”. Pill also stayed on stage while Cyhi performed “Rise” off MMG’s “Self Made” album. Overall Cyhi gave the crowd a good show even the host Maurice Garland said “He was ready to leave after Cyhi Da Prynce” performed.
There was a intermission after Cyhi performed that lasted for 40 minutes then the host ran out and told the crowd Kendrick Lamar just entered the building around 12am. Around 12:30 the worn out crowd was asked if they were ready to see Cory Gunz perform next.. based off the reaction the crowd gave shouldn’t of not even came out. Cory Gunz took the stage and performed a rapid fire spitting track off his latest “Son of a gun” mixtape which got a positive reaction out of the crowd. After that he went in to a song with his Militia Music artist Beast which had the crowd on silence. Next he performed his verse off 6’7 and remix part to “A Milli” which he told the DJ to stop the beat… Cory messed up rapping acapella then the crowd Booo’d him and he blamed it on the DJ and walked off the stage with the upset face. Over all he was looking like he was winging his whole performance and didn’t look real comfortable on stage in front of a live audience.
The Compton MC Kendrick Lamar took the stage around 1 something and had the crowd hyped up like he was from Atlanta. Majority of the crowd was there to see Kendrick and recited his lyrics word for word. I will let the video speak for it self..
