On February 17th, Creative Revolution Union put together a charity concert with TDE’s ScHoolBoy Q in Atlanta, Georgia. ScHoolBoy Q performed in front of a packed out crowd in Atlanta and the event raised over 500 canned goods and nearly $1000 for Hosea Williams Feed the Hungry and Homeless. This video documents ScHoolboy Q’s experience leading up to his first headlining concert in Atlanta, Georgia. The mini documentary features appearances from DJ Drama and many others

While out in Vegas, we caught up with ScHoolboy Q to talk about how the reception has changed between Setbacks and HABITS & COntradictions, how he linked up with Black Hippy, where he’d be if he wasn’t rapping, linking up with Alchemist and more.

Sitting down with Karen Civil, ScHoolboy briefly speaks on his connection to Young Money’s Tyga and the GED crew they used to run with together.

Headlining his very first show in New York, TDE’s resident gangsta in designer ScHoolboy Q is set to perform next Thursday (February 23rd) at the legendary Santos Party House alongside the Flatbush Zombies, Nakim and Kris Kasanova.

OS: How would you describe yourself as opposed to the other members of Black Hippy? How do you feel you like you stand apart from them?
SQ: I feel like I bring a lot of character to the camp. I’m the one that’s gonna talk the most shit, the one that’s gonna have everybody laughing. I’m the one that brings the most character to the camp. I gotta do me. I gotta be my own artist. People like to try to box me and Kendrick together all the time. He’s doing him, I’m doing me. We’re brothers of course, but we gotta just branch off from each other at one point and both go to the top spot and both win.
