Kendrick Lamar shows us Centennial High School, the high school he went to as a young man growing up in Compton, CA.  It was the time period of when the whole Section.80 came to life.

Kendrick chatted about how there was a war between gangs between high neighborhood and the local neighborhood, and how he knew the war always popped off in the evening.  He remembers that hot 10th grade summer, where it got real.

English was his favorite subject in school, even before high school.  Knowing the english language has allowed him to become a wordsmith, which has only added to the quality of the lyrics he wraps.

Right now Kendrick Lamar is the voice of the West and with his fans support will bring the West back to the era of Pac and Dre.
