I’ve been working in “the business” for quite sometime now, and as you know there are all types of “up’s and down’s”, more of the later then the former most times. So much, I’ve been advised by some individuals to quit, because I care too much; I’ve even been affectionally called a “music purist”. On this “side” of the business, where I’m not a artist that creates music or other forms of entertainment; instead of facilitate all business sides of it. Of course, I do have a significant creative in put, but it really isn’t the same; more of spectator. My experiences have caused me a lot of disappointments, mainly from working with Artists that do not desire it more than I- no matter how talented they are. Leaving me broke and overwhelming hatred for the profession. So, I decided to “throw in the towel”, but then a friend of mine re-introduced me to the eclectic hip-hop genius of KL. Needless to say, I changed my mind. Every once in a while [usually every decade] there is a Artist that comes along that just blows everyone minds- for me this decade that artist is: Kendrick Lamar. Thank you. KL. Love, Nikki Morelli
